Time & Action

There are two time periods. The first contains old Nadi and Chloe in 70AD and is set around a campfire on the sea of Galilee. The second time period contains Nadi and Chloe in 30-33AD. There are various settings including a carpentry workshop, caves and the road to Jerusalem, but most of the action takes place in the garden of Gethsemane, Jerusalem, in 33AD.

SEA OF GALILEE, BEACH

The campfire is on the shore of Galilee.  Fishing boats are in the distance and there is a bustle as traders and locals go about their business.  Tables have bread, water, and wine on them.

CARPENTRY WORKSHOP – NAZARETH

This is a basic workspace with hammers, nails, saws, axes, wood sanders and other basic tools.  It is a successful business with lots of broken tables and chairs to fix.  Wood is stored on shelves at the side and the smell of wood shavings on the floor fills the workshop.

NADI’S PARENTS HOUSE

It is a modest size house with nice rugs and furnishings.

The eating area is big with a large table to easily sit ten people.

The kitchen is at the side of the house with a wooden stove and plenty of pots, pans, and plates etc.

TEMPLE AREA - JERUSALEM

The Temple has large columns with stairs leading up to it.

The courtyard was bustling with lots of traders and stalls.  It is very dirty with animal’s blood staining the ground.

Inside the Temple is massive with many stone pillars.  Incense would burn and torches would light up the scroll area.

GARDEN OF GETHSEMANE - JERUSALEM

There are lots of large Olive trees and shrubbery.  There is an open place where the disciples could have erected tents.  A fire burns in the middle of the camp site.

JAIL - JERUSALEM

Four stone walls and a small window with bars.

There is a bench and several chairs at the side.

ROAD TO CALVARY - JERUSALEM

These streets are narrow and Jesus would have been very close to onlookers.  There is nowhere for Jesus to hide or take a rest.

GOLGOTHA - JERUSALEM

Jesus was crucified between Levi and Gesmas.  Jerusalem can be seen in the background.  It is eerily quiet with only a few people witnessing the deaths.
